Before there was red lobster menu with prices 2020, there was Bill Darden, a man enthusiastic about making delicious, high-quality seafood available and cost effective for everyone, including people who lived far from the coast. What was once a single, family-owned restaurant in Lakeland, Florida, now has over 700 locations.
Traceable. Sustainable. Responsible. They are more than just words on our menu – it’s our promise that all of the seafood we serve is sourced for the highest standards. Because, among the world’s largest seafood purchasers, we believe it’s our responsibility to guard and preserve our oceans and marine life for generations ahead.
Traceable – Traceable – all our seafood is 100% traceable to some known and trusted source
Sustainable – Sustainable – we simply source from suppliers who follow industry best practices
Responsible – Responsible – we support and follow regulatory efforts that manage red lobster menu prices and mandate our suppliers conform to all applicable laws. Doing things the right way since 1968.
Red Lobster continues to be focused on seafood sustainability since we first opened our doors in 1968. As being a founding member in the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) in 1997, we helped establish guidelines for the best practices and aquaculture certifications. We’re also proud to have spent decades building personal relationships with suppliers who share our values.
Lobster fishing isn’t just a job. It’s a way of living in countless coastal communities…a tradition passed down from generation to generation. Red Lobster is proud to support the men and women in these communities who fish responsibly to make certain there’s lobster to capture and revel in for generations to come.
Maine Lobster is iconic, and not just because it’s our logo. This is the most sought-after lobster because of its large claws, sweet flavor and tender texture. Protecting this prized species is essential to us. That’s why alfqwv support regulations which require responsible fishing practices.
We partner with suppliers who follow the Atlantic Coastal Fisheries Cooperative Management Act – a federal act with mandated conservation measures for that waters where Maine Lobster is found. Our partners also follow regulations concerning trap limits and get away from using fishing methods that can harm environmental surroundings, like dragging for red lobster hours of operation.
On our menu, you’ll often find Snow and King crab. There are many varieties that can produce a special appearance on our menu, if they’re deemed abundant to capture responsibly, like Bairdi and Dungeness. Whatever the species, every crab we serve is wild-caught using crab traps or “pots.”
